I first saw these chandeliers\u00a0at The Apartment by The Line – New York, \u00a0the meticulously\u00a0designed and curated\u00a0concept store in Soho. \u00a0I loved their\u00a0organic, fluid shape\u00a0and\u00a0they\u00a0lit the loft beautifully. \u00a0The delicateness of these handblown glass orbs combined with their size strikes the perfect balance, making\u00a0them an undeniable statement piece.<\/p>\n
The chandeliers\u00a0are Czech glassmaker Lasvit\u2019s Neverending Glory collection, designed by Jan Plech\u00e1c and Henry Wielgus. \u00a0To better describe the iconic opera house chandelier inspiration behind their designs, Jan Plech\u00e1c explained:\u00a0\u201cWe wanted to create just a ghost of the original chandeliers, or just the soul, the shadow, the shine of the original ones. If you imagine the grand, original chandeliers in these opera houses, they\u2019re glorious, and the \u2018neverending\u2019 part relates to the profiles and the idea of infinite rotation\u2014a neverending glory.\u201d<\/p>\n
