While Delphine Manivet is not a new designer, she has managed to fly under the radar a bit, and stay relatively unknown. But, everytime I come across her designs: wedding, evening or couture, I remember just how good she is.<\/p>\n
Specifically, I am\u00a0obsessed\u00a0with Ms. Manivet’s\u00a0wedding dresses. \u00a0Delphine designs for both a modern bride as well as one with a\u00a0more\u00a0romantic style. \u00a0This is a woman who\u00a0knows who she is: a\u00a0late 20’s to mid 30’s Parisian professional, who prefers (or is too cool to care) her hair to be slightly undone, and always looks timelessly chic.<\/p>\n
One of the qualities I love most about Delphine\u2019s dresses is that she uses true white, which is so rare, surprisingly, for her dresses. It makes her designs\u00a0look so clean and totally “of the moment”. \u00a0Delphine also\u00a0partners with century-old mills, in order to use the most gorgeous silks and authentic laces. \u00a0As someone who loves beautiful fabrics and cares above all\u00a0about quality and attention-to-detail, learning this\u00a0made my heart beat a little faster. \u00a0What I would do to get my hands on one of these beauties to see in person!<\/p>\n
Delphine continues to put out amazing bridal collections each season, but I still love her Permanent Collection best. \u00a0The\u00a0Alexis dress is my personal favorite and I see\u00a0it as the perfect city wedding frock. \u00a0And the white pumps??? They\u00a0just finish the look perfectly.\u00a0 Too many good dresses to share, but here’s a start…<\/p>\n
